Holy moly it is Guacamole Day!
While September 16th is officially Guacamole Day, it is Guacamole day in our home almost every day! Most people enjoy squished up avocados as a side dish, but this is a Mexican feast in my book!
Many restaurants are offering free guac today, but if you are interest in making your own at home, here is the best recipe! It includes essential oils, which will give your dish some added health benefits!
Guacamole with Essential Oils
2 ripe avocados
1-2 garlic cloves
1/2 small diced tomatoes
1/2 small diced onion
Juice of 1/2 lime
Dash of salt
1 drop doTERRA Cilantro EO
2 drops doTERRA Lime EO
1/2 droop doTERRA Black Pepper EO
Crush the garlic, set aside for 10 minutes.
Cut avocados in half, reserve pits
Smash avocados in bowl.
Add tomatoes, onion, garlic, essential oils & salt to avocados and stir
Place avocado pits in guac to prevent browning
